General | A Quick Catch Up

So June has basically come and gone and I have only done 3 blog posts all month, where is the time going? This post is just a catch up on what I have been up to and what you guys have to look forward to. Firstly I want to apologise for not being consistent this month with my blog posts, but I do have lots of exciting posts coming, as well as new content for my Instagram and some fun giveaways.

June has been a very busy month for me. The first week of June was the hand in for my final major project of my course, which entailed a lot of hard work and sleepless nights. I was analysing and editing work non-stop and just had no time for anything else. I then wasn’t very well and wasn’t feeling myself for a little while and was advised to take time to rest and relax. And now we have been blessed in England with this beautiful weather, I have been making the most of it and have been spending time with my close friends and family.

However I wasn’t slacking all month. I managed to attend the SLNGHR pop up sample sale in Shoreditch, which I will be doing a blog post all about this weekend. I also managed to team up with Femme Luxe for a few post collaborations, which I’m so grateful for as it’s my first ever blogger collaboration and I’m so excited. And not only that, but I won a giveaway this morning with @naomigenes which made my day. I will also be doing a blog post on what I won in the giveaway and all the products, as well as information on a giveaway of my own I will be doing.

But for now I’m back, and the blog posts are only going to get better.

I hope you all have a great weekend, enjoy the beautiful weather and stay safe.

Love always

Beauty | May Favourites

I can’t believe we are in June already, where is the year going?

I have been trying out a few new products this month, and I have also gone back to some old products I used to use and so I thought I would do a post about all the beauty products I am currently loving.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating eye cream

I have heard incredible things about Bobbi Brown’s skincare range but it is quite expensive. And so for the last few months I have bought one product and month and tried it out. This month I bought their hydrating eye cream as I have no eye creams at all in my skin care drawer, and I can say it does not disappoint. I don’t have bags or dark circles but my eyes can sometimes look tired, and so this really does hydrate under the eye and eliminates the dullness. I use the eye cream every night on top of my moisturiser, and I have used it occasionally before applying my concealer to help prep my under eye.

Chanel chance eau fraiche perfume

With the beautiful hot weather we have had through May, my Chanel perfume has been my go to. I love how fresh and sweet the smell is, I love the bottle and I love how little you need to smell good all day.

Jordana Ticia lipgloss

I’ve seen a lot of my favourite make up artists using these lipglosses on their clients over the past few months, and so when my boyfriend bought me two for my birthday I was over the moon. I have the glosses in the shade Clueless and Peach please and I haven’t stopped wearing both since I opened them. They’re both very pigmented and true to colour. They aren’t sticky at all, and they smell amazing and look even better on. I will definitely be getting the glosses in more shades when I get paid.

Doll Light highlighter

I now finally have my own doll light highlighter, after borrowing one of my friends and falling in love with it. This has been a favourite of mine for a while now, and was such a lovely birthday gift from my close friend and such a surprise. It is so pigmented and leaves such a beautiful flawless finish.

Glam Glow super mud treatment

This is a product I have seen a lot on Instagram and always wanted to try, luckily for me my two bestfriends suprised me with it for my birthday. Since then I have used it twice and already noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. It’s definitely up there with the Rituals face masks that I love, and I’m very excited to see how my skin improves over time from using it.

Date Night | Getting My Tiger Woods On

As an early birthday treat, last Wednesday my boyfriend took us to Milton Keynes to try out their new indoor Mr Mulligan’s Lost World adventure golf course. I got a lot of people asking questions on where it was and what it was like and so I decided to do a blog post for everyone interested.

As we decided to go in the week and during work hours we were able to receive this special deal that they are currently offering. The deal includes unlimited games on their courses and a meal in their restaurant for £10.99 (which I thought was insane until we got to the restaurant). The restaurant was quite disappointing. Now don’t get me wrong I wasn’t expecting TGI standards, especially because it was basically a free meal in the deal but I did expect our food to come out at a similar time and for us to be able to enjoy our drinks with our meal. Before I even saw my pizza being made, we had finished my boyfriends whole meal and I no longer wanted it. However the staff was amazing and really made up for it and it was basically a free meal after all.

The courses were so much fun and we had a lot of laughs, even if I did lose. They have two different courses that take around 30mins to an hour to complete, lucky for us it was lovely and quiet because of the time we went and so we got through the courses in a good amount of time. One course is an under water theme and the second one is more of an on land creature theme, both very creative and well put together.

Overall it was such a lovely day, and I had such a great time. It’s the perfect day out for everyone – couples, families or friends.

I hope you all have a great weekend.
